On May 28, 1924, Congress passed the Labor Appropriations Act of 1924, officially establishing the United States Border Patrol. In 1925, the duties of Border Control expanded to the seacoast. From there, it just kept expanding all the way to the Canadian Border.
We need border control to protect our pride. Illegal immigrants take our jobs and everything else we have. If there was no U.S. border control watching the borders, there would be millions of people in our country. Just think, the U.S. population would probably be 2x what it is now, and the unemployment rate would be 4x what it is now.
